First, open up an image (preferebly 420 by 120 pxls)
Now you should have a blank, white image
Select one of your abstract or grunge brushes, or anything you want
If you dont have any brushes, go to deviantart.com
Brush around untill the whole image is covered
You should have something like this:
Now open up one of your renders, if your too lazy to make one go to planetrenders.net
copy your render (ctrl C) and paste (ctrl V) it to your brushed picture
now enlargen your render if needed (Image>Scale Image), to cover up your whole background
since you pasted the render, it should have automatically opened it as a new layer, so set its layer mode to overlay
Yours should be similar to this
now create a new layer, select the lasso tool and make a small selection somewhere on your screen
Select the Paint Box Tool and color your selection with any color you want
Now deselect (Ctrl>Shift>A) set the painted layers mode to overlay
Select the smudge tool, and use one off your big fluffy brushes, and if you don't have one, click on the dialog on your brushes console that says new brush, make the radius about 45 and mess around with the hardness
Now, smudge your painted...thingy until you have something like me
Hint:If you can bearly see what youve done, duplicate the layer a few times
Now repeat the steps how ever much you feel starting from creating the new layer (new layer>small selection>paint box>overlay>smudge) with a new color and possibly a bigger selection
Now, you should have something like this:
Create a new layer
I hope you didn't exit out of your render, because we're using it now
So select your render document, shrink it if nececary, copy and paste it to your background document, deselect and there you go :w:
Optional Info:You can add some text if you want
