I'll try it though I'm as useful with a c4d as a turtle is with a gun....

Thank you SO much. Its wonderfully written and easy enough to follow. I will definitely be trying this and adding my own flair to it. One question...where did you get the C4D's used in this tut? The only ones I ever see are the bigger abstract ones...
Thanks Trap <3

The outcome is ace, but, being a one for nitpicking, the bottom right of the border is off. :P I will follow this tutorial shortly.

very nice tut. i will give this a go and edit this post with it. the result is nice and gives a good use to c4ds.; keep up the good work

EDIT: i quite like my result. but there seems to be 2 light sources :o: - so i might redo it later but make sure there is only one light source
also i changed the text because i like my faded text - gives it a more personal touch

After completing your tutorial, I got rid of a few layers; most noticably the render, text and ripple, and then went completely overboard with the colouring. Scratch that, 40 versions later and I'm still going overboard with the colouring.

Where did you get those renders?

EDIT: I've narrowed down two alphabets worth of colour modifications to 13 signatures. :P I'll post them when I get back from college.

I know the render is overused but I wanted to use a similar color to yours

I was going for a splatter effect with the pink...

P.S. Lighten only creates green lines (thick green lines) on my image so I had to skip all of those,

Photobucket has resized the bubbly C4D. Could you upload it to imageshack instead?

EDIT: Found a way of using it anyway. Here's my result:

EDIT2: It looked dull, so I fiddled around with it a bit:

I like top one, personally. More color variety.

@Vo1ture: Thank you so much for making a tut explaining c4d's! I love the result, too. I have to go try this, now.
