I have created an XCF that has a layer that has my signature in the lower right hand corner.

I pull up my sports pictures one by one and overlay that layer on them then save them back to a JPG.

I am looking for a script to..

1. Open a JPG image as a layer.
2. Position it underneath my signature mask layer.
3. Export the whole thing back out as the same name but with the signature.

Is there anything out there that does this, or can I write something to do this ??

I've been using gimp for several months now, but have never written scripts.

Any help would be appreciated.
