Hey, hoping anybody can help me,

Same Issue as before,
but with one slight difference, I have no Firewall running...

specs:
EEEPC 1000H, WinXPSp3, Gimp (several versions) ....

I am on the right track, but it can take ages for me to find the solution alone.
File formats "except xcf" are so called plug-ins within GIMP. Now when I want to
open anything exc. xcf I get: NOPE: unknown.... Well, ... I have installed several
versions of gimp at once (for testing purposes) and now all the opening and
saving errors come up.
To me it is quite simple: Something (which never occurs within LINUX ;-) ) in fact
really bad happened to the entries in my "windows registry" and I have not even
the slightest idea, where to look and where to erease/alter certain keys.
Perhaps I am not the only person with that problem, but (as I see) one who
diagnosed my problems correctly.

And this won't even change with Install of GIMP 2.7 pre... (DAMN!)
(No I do not really want to reinstall my OS for that reason, ....)

So many thanks in advance and I'm looking for replies.
