Nice tut with a solid outcome. Well done. :)

Also may i ask, where do you get your anime renders?
I check on planetrenders.com and animerender.com but because i don't know any good animes i can't search them up.

Like i said i don't know many animes, i probably know like 2-3 and i already have renders from them and i have already used them like 3 times each. :(
If you could give me a few names of animes that i could search up that would be great.

Pretty sweet tut Ankeny, thanks. :)
@Chimp: You don't really need to know the names, on PR at least. On PR, just go to the anime renders section and scroll through all of them. It takes some filtering to find the good ones, but whatever.

You're correct, they're not in Gimp.

I saw this YT video [http://www.youtube.c...u/3/Ds9mAiHNrbM] and what he does to replicate the photfilter effect in Gimp is to fill a new layer with a rich orange and set the layer to "hue".

Disclaimer: That technique is from the guy making the video, not me. I didn't make that video.

Also, I don't know about the "soft omni filter" >_<

Keep in mind that photographic filters merely reduce the level of certain colors and can be simulated using the the Levels or the Curves tool. For example, to simulate the effect of a Sky or warming Filter, one would reduce the amount of the blue channel. In general, simulating specific photo filters is more restrictive than actually using digital image manipulation techniques.

I asked when I first joined the forum and got that answer :P

Nice tut and outcome.
Might try it later when I'm feeling less lazy.
