1st tut

Hello and Welcum 2 my 1st tut ever!!! Give constructive criticism if u want and if any1 can tell me how 2 make templates 4 my tutz dat would b great :)

Anywayz here we go:

1)Make a new document i used 420x150, but you can use whatever size u want

2)Then paste in your stock resize if needed

3)Then paste in an effect stock and change the opacity to 65 and mode to Hard light and erase where needed

4)open up another stock i used a city one and change the mode to darken only

5)Do an edit>copy visible>paste>layer>new layer

6)Then with that layer selected go to filters>edge-detect>edge leave everything the same, then change the opacity to 50 and the mode to overlay

7)Open up a c4d change the opacity to 30 and mode to lighten only erase where needed

8 )open up another c4d i used a bubble c4d change mode to lighten only and opacity to 70 erase where needed

9)Do a edit>copy visible> paste> layer> new layer

10)Do another copy visible layer change the color go to hue and saturation
Hue=24
Lightness=-1
Saturation=-61

11)Add a border/ go to filters>decor>add border
x=1
y=12

I don't really like this tutorial. The outcome is genuinely awful.

Also, try to use the correct English. There are many members here to whom English isn't their first language.

I actually liked the tut, and it has a nice outcome, keep up the good work.

Not to be rude but I don't like it at all. I think that it would have been improved with better stocks, a few splatter brushes, and maybe a gradient or two. I'll try to make the best of it though and attempt to make a sig!

I think that if you didn't put in the city stock, it would look a lot cooler, maybe give it a desert style feel. :) And welcome to GIMPtalk.

Yeah... The city stock makes it Naruto look to big. He's too much into the foreground for it to look like the city's way out in front.

oh.. well i didnt use text talk during the tut so u should understand dat just fine and datz really da only thing u need 2 worry about...

offtopic, but where did you get that render for your pink/purple signature? its a really good one..

anyway, nice try on ur 1st tut. Although I don't really like the outcome, it is your first so il give you props on that
