The picture is clearly overdone but it's just for demonstrative purpose. I ended up writing two scripts to achieve this, the first is a script I originally wrote attempting to mimic the (in)famous 300 preset for Lightroom:

the second a classic highpass filter:

1 - For a 1024 or so image, apply "Mybox/High pass" with a blur radius of 35 or so.
2 - Set blending to "Hard light" and merge down the Highpass layer.
3- Apply the "MyBox/My 300", leave "flatten" box untagged.
4- play with with opacities until you're happy.


well my only question is why 2 scripts and not a merged 1 (and why write another highpass script ) but effect seems cool
so i report the new here
