Sorry if has been done before, but, here is my first tut :h:

Step #1
Open a new document in GIMP, size doesn't matter, but i used 350x125

Step #2
Go to Script-Fu>Render>Spyrogimp
Use these settings:

And click browse to select the brush you want

Step #3:

A handy shortcut rather than covering a canvas manually.
