First, start out with your favorite sig tut except instead of the sig size the tut says, use 725X400 and adjust the tut acordingly until you get something like this:


now edit the red text in the following code to your values:

Save the file as index.php or blog.php and upload it to the desired location on you webserver, then download cutenews from http://cutephp.com and unzip it, then upload the cutenews directory to your webserver, and go to http://yoursite.net/cutenews/ and run the install script, does not need mysql.

Now i think you should have a running blog with a spiffy background :h:

A bit too vague... many people have no idea how to work with html, php, etc... So maybe you should provide some links specifiying what you are doing first. Good tutorial, but try to make it easier on the beginners :w:.

Yeah, good point... but most of the people i know would be able to get through this tut in about five minutes, and was there anything that says it is for beginners? :w:

You don't hafta use it, it is just recommended, i'm sure there are better blog systems out there there that would work better...
