so, my bud at another forum (Outsider) compiled the mathmap plugin for windows. yes;

here's the link to the ZIP:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/88wthw
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT somebody had download problems so here a alteranative download link
http://public.box.net/fotocomics16588 ..let me know if you still get problems
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now, the directions he provided me are as follows:

Copy and paste mathmap.exe and the two .dll files (libgsl.dll and libgslcblas.dll) into your plug-in folder.
Copy and paste the remaining files into [main drive]:\Documents and Settings\[Windows username]\.gimp-2.2\mathmap
You'll have to make the mathmap folder, though.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT: to see the Mathmap plugin after install could be necessary restart the computer.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
anyway, all credit goes to the original plugin writer, and special thanks to Captain Caps Lock and Commodore Guff of Outsider!

i've used it with GIMP 2.2, and it WORKS. dance;

enjoy! and NO FAINTING!

I came up with a PSPI error, but the plugin seems to work fine....just a quick test, though....do you encounter this or do you even use PSPI?
