Ok. I've seen some crappy iPod tuts. Not clean, bad technique, Renders that are blah, unrealistic hands/iPods, you get the picture. But this is the tut that owns those tuts. You will make this:Posted Image

Wouldn't be better if you put the black on the render, I mean on not colouring it all black, but before that colour the render with the GIMPmasking tool with the BG colour. Then erasing the black and showing some colour.

HOLY CRAP! Do you know how much money it costs to download that font? GAH! Anyway, I'm not done due to THAT...so I'll just post what I finished...
EDIT: Done. Nice tut, and I'll do it over once I get a better render and that font! And...I figure out how to give kirby a better dissolution. Ah well, no big deal.

If you have Adobe Reader, you have Myriad.

For Windows users:
Look in Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0 (or whatever ver. you have)\Resource\Font. There you will find the Myriad fonts. Copy them over to your Windows fonts folder, and voila. If you don't have Adobe Reader, it's a free download.

I'm confused with the making the image all black. So, I add the image, go to aplaha selection (the image stays normal), and make a new layer filled with black. All I get is a black background.
