    I had the same problem with Gimp 2.8. Nothing worked and the prints were wrong, no matter what I set the printer to.

    Solution: Copy the print.exe from an old Gimp (for me 2.6.12)in the main plugin folder of Gimp and overwrite the print.exe from 2.8. After that you have the Page setup back and printing will work. You might have to change the image size in the properties tab of the print dialog though.

    System: Win XP 32 Bit German.
