    No problems to report here either, I'm using 2.8 and a WACOM Pen and Touch - on Windows 7 64bit.

    You need to use GEGL - this is one of the vast improvements in 2.8 I wholeheartedly appreciate!!!

    You are right, it would be rather tricky.

    This would be quicker: find a new photo of a bunch of grapes, create some layers - add some coloured circles, reduce the opacity of the circle layers to make them semi transparent.

    Looks like a bug. I'm getting the same in GIMP 2.8 in Windows 7 64bit.

    However I notice if you click and drag the handles just a bit, you can then enter the size by typing.

    Probably more of a glitch than a bug, but annoying nevertheless.
