    As I posted in another thread, I've started a painting based on inspiration from reading the dragon riders of pern series of books (for the meeeelionth time!).

    I had to rotate the dragonet "Duke" somewhat so he'd appear to actually be sitting on Sorka's shoulder. Other than that, I'm just refining the sketch.

    Hello all!

    It's been quite a while since I posted anything - one leads a busy life...

    Anyway, I'm back to playing with my Wacom tablet, and trying to get a handle on painting with it.

    Here, I just opened a blank canvas and started sketching slowly adding more detail as I went. It's rough, and the perspective is a bit skewed, but believe me, it's an improvement over what I was doing.
