Thanks! Yeah, the sketch has some... issues. Hopefully, they'll be less pronounced as I tweak and paint.
One thing I'm having trouble with is skin textures. Well, skin texture and hair. Aaaaannd perspective. And...!

I like it. The only thing I would address is the beard. It is done well, but it seems to stand out compared with the rest of the image.

This was just a practice piece that I probably will never "finish". I'm having a really hard time with hair/beards. I think it's the way I'm layering the colors. -

Ok,that's just weird.
No, not your painting, which is very nice. I'm reading Dragonsdawn and it inspired me to do a painting of Sorka and "Duke" and the resemblance to this work is... weird.
I swear I hadn't seen yours before I did the sketch for mine!
