Very nice. The first one is the best. On the second one, you forgot the 3D circle thing and a border. Thanks very much for trying.

Because the background is transparent and it was saved in a .png format.

It's pretty effective and well done.

Don't let it go to your head though ...

Keep it up!

i dont know if u knew this but to make a border you can always use Script-Foo -> Decore -> Boarder (or somthing close to that) then set it to 1 or 2 pixels and chose ur color. =) also i luv the result i used to make these all the time... i like to expriment by instead of gradent add a render or something...

Here are all the userbars i made... from worst to best and the Bleach 1 was for a friend and looks ugly to me but lol...

Yes, I know this. However, this method increases the actuall size of the image. So instead of a userbar with the standard size of 350 x 19, you will end up with something the size of 352 x 21. That size is not the standard userbar size.

Yes, but I'm not sure if the dimensions I posted above are correct. Also, the actual userbar image area would be smaller. I think its best just to stick with the method listed in the main tutorial.

Yes, I looked at them. Unfortunately, they don't show you anything with the text really. It was those tutorials that inspired me to this one as a felt they were just to brief.
