full background tutorial

1. Open new canvas (whatever size you want your image to be)

Posted Image

2. brush all over the image with whatever brush you want

Posted Image

3. Go to tools - color tools - colorize and play with the settings untill you get the look you want.

Posted Image

4. make a new transparent layer on your canvas by going to layer - new layer
5. choose a render.
6. paste the render on the canvas,
7. scale the render by doing layer - scale layer to the size you want it.
8. copy the render at that scale size
9. paste the render all over the canvas

Posted Image

10. do filters - blur - gaussian blur at 20 on each
11. set layer mode to dodge
And there's your background for the render you chose!

Nice little trick, I've already used it a few times in a couple sigs, definatly gives you a good base BG to work with when you already know what render your gonna use. Good lookin out.

I made the Baron one first. I really liked it, so I changed the text.

Very nice tutorial, I have to say.

Jashin 2. I'll look for a link...

EDIT: I couldn't find a link to the brushes I downloaded for some reason. I think they're in this pack, though
