Hi, Kelbo. Welcome to GIMPtalk.com!

Just go to the brushes folder and open up the gbr file with gimp. Resize accordingly and you can either save over the original one or give it a new name.

Let me know if you have any trouble.

Now this is strange, when I put the brushes in the Brush Folder it just doesnt show up when I open up the Gimp Program. Ive tried re-inserting the brushes and refreshing the Brushes menu but nothing works. Any suggestions?

I thought I had the same problem, but I believe they are called Gimp Brush #1 - Gimp Brush #9. I was looking for another name altogether.

Yeah why did they get renamed? I name all the files, and when I look at the brushes folder they all have the names I gave them, but not on the brushes window.

You actually have to name them twice. The first time saves it as the file name. Then, a second dialog box will open where you give the brush name (which appears in the brushes window) and brush spacing. The default name is "Gimp Brush". So, if you just hit "ok", it's automatically assigned the default name. I don't like the way it's set up, but that's the way it is.
