Badger Boy, make sure you right click on the render layer and do 'layer to image size'. It'll work, then.

THIS IS DEFINATELY AN AMAZING TUTORIAL FOR GIMP! But.....i didn't like how mine came out so i edited some stuff on it though my sig is in very bad quality, could somebody please help me make it freakin' better?THis is probably my favorite tutorial of yours because it looks the most like a photoshop looking sig.
Please comment on the sig i made from doing this tutorial curly!

The bad quality is due to the animation (GIF). Whenever you aren't making an animation I suggest saving you iimage as *image name*.png

I'm confused about the vine brush. I have it but I don't understand how you smudged the image with it. can someone explain?

The vine brush is default in the gimp and then you just keep making smudge liness (well i did) untill it looks similar to the one curly shows at the point

Im not really stuck i just got my layers all mixed up cause yea... but i have a lil problem.. after i did displace>default options on the spark layer your sposed to duplicate the original render la yer then on the duplicate you do displace with both the options on sparks layer.. well when i did that it only showed down to the last layer before sparks layer like i couldnt do it... so heres my layers

blur layer copy
render layer copy
render layer
blur layer
smudge layer
spark layer... so yea i would like to know if those are in the right order an d the first question, thanks

this is just me probly being noob, but ill say it anywayz, I got everything on tat tut except the "Pick Filter on it at max levels (100,100)"
where is that? nvm got it
