Sprite Tutorial

This is not for anyone new to gimp, I recommend having it for atleast one month, possibly two.

Instead of doing all the copying and pasting that was in the tutorial, you can just merge the layers, and copy. But, I taught you the other step so you have all the layers if you need to edit something when you save it as a .xcf.

nice. will try this later. i dont like merging layers (as you can see from my tut) also for me it looked better without the gradient map but thats just my opinion. keep up the good work

Kool, but I wouldnt say you need month.
I understand everything and its been like 2 weeks-3.......
But thanks I never knew you could save as an .xcf file.



Now I just need to find a sprite.

Pretty good, Vo1. But I agree with bourne, it looked better without the gradient maps.

I might try this out later.

I have a question. With the sprite sheets, how do you use just one image and not the whole thing?

Just erase the other ones, lol. Or use the lasso, and lasso them, then move them away so you only have one.

Nice job watup! Love the under sea feel. The smudge tool, is the little hand it's below the brush tool I think. Also, that is why I said
