Its a good tut, but I dont really like the result. Good job anyway. Very easy to follow. :l:

Funny I can see it now. Anyway I did alot of..um...experimenting. Do you think mine is any good? Its 30 or so layers.

It has some issues because the spread filter kept crashing on me so I couldn't use it.

If you run windows your pattern folder should be something like C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\patterns

And what do you mean by:

Make a new white layer, get out the fill bucket and select "fill with pattern". Fill the white layer then go to Layer>Transparency> Color to Alpha. Make the box white and click OK and the white will disapear.

All I did was created a new layer and did the bucket tool.

Also, you (Koops12) mentioned I can get that border you used "at the bottom. Where is that?
