Keywords: Abstract Flame Render Signature
[line]
The orginal tutorial was used to combine to one large flame, but this is a bit different. the original tutorial can be found here http://www.deviantar...ation/17049251/

[line]
[*]Create a 450x150 layer, fill it with black
[*]Create a transparent layer, set it to screen mode.
[*]Go to Filters->Render->Nature->Flame. Go into edit and choose a good abstractish looking flame. make sure its big.
[*]Go to the Camera tab, and set the Zoom, X, and Y to your desire. Click ok
[*]Repeat step 2-4 2 more times, using different flames and Zoom, X, and Y values.
[*]Create a new layer and set it to overlay. Fill it with what ever color you want. I chose light blue

Sorry if copying another person's tutorial is against the rules. But i find this a very easy way to make Abstract Signatures and people tend to forget about the Flame filter other than making brushes :3

Good tutorial. I really like the flame plugin. But I do disagree that people have forgotten about it except for making brushes. From what I've seen on the web, most use it for beautiful wallpapers. Brushes were only a side result.

I used this filter ages ago and I couldn't find how to do it again. >_>

Nice tutorial, I just used it to find out how to use the flame filter. Here's my outcome anyway:

here is a wallpaper i made. I used transform to make it symetrical. also if you use gradient mapping instead of colorize it gives it a cleaner look
