@ Jethro252:

WOW that is a nice result...I don't know how I missed that. =O

Well like everything in a tutorial its optional. If you'd rather use filters and other tools rather than a brushed background you're welcome to do so. :w:

@ kitz-the-kitsune:

I'm glad that you like it. :l:

Your signature is very nice, the only thing that I would work on is the text. The background, render and border are great. ^_^

@ LAMAK:

While I could make a remark about the text being better, I won't as the blended text you used is fine.

Nice work on the signature, I like it a lot. It would look better with at least a 2 pixel border, though.

I'm glad that this tutorial is still helping out. :h:

@ LAMAK:

I've found that putting a border (even if it is 1 or 2 pixels) it does improve the signature. But really in the end its up to you.

@ Thorn:

Great result. Everything looks good, but the smaller text is a little thick and hard to read.

@ herocks:

Click on the white background surrounding a render with the magic wand tool, now in the menus select "Select"->Invert. Now go to edit and cut and paste your image.

@ yugihalo:

Nice work. :h:

The bottom text is really pixely, and could be better but besides that it its all good.

YugiHalo did you turn anti-aliasing on when you wrote the text?

@ herocks:

Just Normal. Just click on the background of the render that you want to select and cut out.

@ herocks:

Below in the menu, you can adjust a threshold bar. Adjust this to the right, then try again.

@ Major Sev:

This was originally posted on another forum in which the skill level of Gimp users is much lower than on here, that's why I've made reference to stuff being difficult/advanced.
