Hey, come on guys, remember Kelxz is the Squisky Overlord .... or something of that description. Don't go crazy and claim ownership over her creation :P

It seems logical to me ... mind you, logic has become very tenacious just lately. It still has hold of my leg.

mmm.. thanks Ermine, I AM THE RULER OF ALL THINGS FLUFFY (mainly Squiskys).

I know i'm being VERY paranoid, but I really would appreciate it if none of you ever try to claim these as your own, post the tut on your site even if you do give credit, make stuff that is ANYTHING to do with my Squisky idea, or even post them on your forums WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
I hope you don't do what I wish you not to do, but if you do just be warned that there is a 9/10 chance I will KNOW, so don't bother.. :a:

Ok then, sorry about that angryness/thingy, on a a good note I like all of your Squiskys so far, they all look dareingly cute! :w: - Excellent work to all of you!

It looks like many of you forgot to hit the "apply" button after you selected "furry" in GIMPressionist.

:o: I must say, it looks vaguely scary ...... look at those eyes, and the pink nose ... nothing promises to be well-behaving if it has a pink nose ...

no, I'm not claiming anything as my own, I'm simply compiling a list of all squisky types up until now. It's not too late, you know. So far only species created on my PC are in it, making it legally my property. I was thinking perhaps posting it on a website and giving all of the GIMPTalk members the password so it can be added to.

kelxz, here's the text so far:

Squisk allegrum. “Squeedle”. Height: 0.5 inches. Length: 2.5 inches. Width: 2 inches. Eye diameter: 0.5 inches. Pupils abnormally small. Mouth wide and slit-like. Fur grows in a windswept manner. Enjoy zipping around their environment at speeds of up to 30 mph. Blue, pink, yellow, and green hair colors. Hybrids not unusual. Lives on forest floors in central South America. Flesh is extremely poisonous when consumed. Females usually smaller and faster. Sound: “Wheeeeeee”.

Squisk domestica. “Squiffle”. Height: 3.5 inches. Length: 5 inches. Width: 4.75 inches. Eye diameter: 0.3 inches. Black beady eyes. Mouth very flexible, similar to a furry slit with half-developed lips. Fur very silky and soft. Makes a very good pet. Hops along at around 2 mph. Enjoy small environments with many things to climb on. Hair colors: green, purple, orange, and brown. Most often seen with brown hair. Bred from S. retardum by Brazilian natives. Females larger and softer. Makes a guttural guzzling sound similar to purring. Quite unintelligent.

Squisk retardum. “Squill”. Height: 12 inches. Length: 24 inches. Width: 24 inches. Eye vertical diameter: 2 inches. Eye horizontal diameter: 3 inches. Eyes and pupils are slightly oblong. Pupils seem slightly dilated. Mouth always gives the impression it is open in awe. Crawls along at about 1.5mph, but has a maximum speed of around 12 mph. Noted for its lack of intelligence. The only reasons it survived evolution are the viciously sharp teeth hidden behind its lips and a willingness to eat almost everything that moves. Native to the Andes Mountains. Females slightly darker and vicious. Makes a cute squeaking sound. Has orange hair.

Kelxz, don't worry about the Guide to Squisks. I'm going to be in an isolated wilderness with no technology whatsoever for a month, so I'm likely to forget about it anyways.

Yours Truly,

Oh, good. New discovery! If you apply the 'furry' preset and then go to the placement tab and set the stroke density to 50 and check transparent on the 'general' tab, they look soft and furry! For example:

I took my squisky and did a Distort|Emboss and chose the Bumpmap option, so now it looks like a 3d clay figure of sorts. :l:
