Hello all, I,m from Western PA (USA) and am so looking forward to exploring the wide world of Gimp and all the colonists that reside here. I have a background in film photography and for several years was a custom printer ( the old fashion way "wet process")I,m looking for support as to where to start and I welcome input from everyone about everything. Great to be here !

Film and photography ehhh? That's pretty cool ;D You'll have to share some of your stuff with us ^_^ There's plenty of beginner tutorials to get you started, and if you ever need help you can make a topic in the appropriate forum or just message me/another moderator etc.
