I'm running Gimp on Fedora 17. I am particular about key bindings for the window manager and have control set as the key which, when pressed and left-clicking on any window, allows me to move the window.
With Gimp there are times (such as when using the Heal tool) where you need to Ctrl-click. When I do that, the window manager overrides the behavior that Gimp wants. Hence, I cannot Ctrl-click with Gimp.
I am wondering if there is a way to configure Gimp such that ctrl is really another key (such as ctrl-shift or ctrl-alt, or the Windows key), or to somehow set up gimp such that ctrl-click does not get overridden by my window manager. And I am too married to my specific my window manager key bindings to change them so that's not an option
