Hi, I need to cut a part of one path and paste it as a part of another path. Is there a way in GIMP for doing this? Currenty, all what I can do is to select required anchors of the source path. Then, all I can do with this selection is moving it as a whole. The commands "Copy path" and "Paste path" ignore selection and work with entire path.

Somewhere in my collection of path related scripts there is a "delete-strokes" that will delete strokes in the selection. So you can dup your path, maybe cut the right segments to make strokes from the parts you want to remove, and apply the script, and then copy/paste/merge the resulting "reduced" path. Not perfect but still faster than deleting all the points one by one.
