ok these are clearly not finished but looking for some feedback as they are the first 2 pics i ever done. the first is a multi portrait in grey scale i'm working on as a present for my girlfriend who loves marilyn. the second is a comic book character of mine that been working on. any critiques or useful tips for plugins would greatly be appreciated as i am a noob to gimp and still learning pretty much everything.

Not sure what to say, but you do definitely have talent! =D
I think a little too much sparkle brush for the second one, though.

sparkle brush is the stars? i thought so to, if thats what it is but, i plan on adding the rest of the solar system in after i finish cleaning up the character. i figured once i have the planets in i will see how it looks and then edit or redo the layer. thanx for the positive response
