Hey all, I'm Tim (amazing how often that's available as a user-name!)

I was trawling about doing various Gimp tutorials and realised I'd done several from this board, the feedback and advice in the threads seemed very supportive...and sometimes just as useful as the tut itself, so I figured I'd join up and hopefully join-in where I can!

Brief background: I did a design degree 10yrs ago which introduced me to Photoshop (5 through to 7) and I'm a keen amateur photographer. I now have a worthless office job lol, art-student-all-the-way... I was originally attracted to Gimp by it's free-ness but I've really grown to like using it. I'm fairly accomplished at doing what I need to do within Gimp but shockingly ignorant about all-sorts of other things, hence the tutorials and stumbling across you lot!

I'm surprised Tim wasn't already a registered name as well! Nice pull Glad you find the giant tutorial base helpful, and defiantly that you registered
