I did this design for a forum site (ToonTask.com) for the children's game ToonTown Online. Was easily one of the biggest projects I've done when it comes to drawing as the logo and header are both 100+ layer files. I worked with the members and staff to design a skin the way they wanted it to look, but I did have a lot of leeway on the design. Was a fun project, but it did show me that IPB just isn't made for extensive editing (but it's better than vB at least, lol). Everything was drawn by me, but I did do a quick trace of a few screenshots (for the boat and the character mostly) to make sure I kept the most important things' proportions correct).

Would post a direct image here but I remember that GIMPTalk's [img] tags don't scale down and this image is 1900x2126. I don't want to break the site when people click on my thread, haha!

All in all it looks pretty good. I like the boat, very well done. But actually I've got a few things that I didn't like that much:

- You can do with the header whatever you want, but you have to take care that the colors within the content are good for the eyes. The deep blue you chose is way to saturated and I think it feels like you couldn't choose between light or dark.
- The logo is actually really cute, but I guess many people will miss it. Try to get the chars more visible. (especially both Ts and the k is hard to get. for the first t I would recommend more contrast to the background, the second t could get a more T like shape.)
- the header has an other problem. The boat and logo looks like pixel art, the rest is probably painted with gimp. So it doesn't fit that well together. Also everything but the boat and logo turned out really blurry, this amplifies the effect.
- The footer does not look that good. It has a bad chosen color and way too less elements for repeating them.

Looks nice and probably fits it needs, but could be way better.
