Hi

I created a 320 X 480 image and inside this image I am including the slices of 8 different images (320 x 50) - now how do I align them sothat they are all nicely aligned.

Thank you

Assuming you have one image per layer...

1) This is more or less what the Align tool is meant for.

2) Otherwise you can position "guides" along which the sides or centers of the layers will snap.

Yes I have one image per layer
I opened a new file 320 x 480,
added a new Layer 320 x 480 then imported the above image which is 320 x 480
Then created 8 different Layers (sliced) and imported 8 different slices (320 X 100) which I had created before.

Yep I will use guides but the first imported file 320 x 480 shouldnt be moved.

So how do I go along and where is this beautiful Align tool
Thanks

No need to create explicitly a new image. Just open what you have and save under a new name

Same remark here. Use "File/Open as layers". You can even select several files and load them in one go, if they are in the same directory.
