Hanging City Winter scene

A winter illustration, based on a photo I took of the Spokane River in Spokane, WA. I'm rather pleased with the icicles. I came up with a neat little technique using image masks to get the lighting effect.

A lot less dead bodies than the title led me to believe.

i LOVE the art image you done, the lighting and the placement of colors gives that kinda of a dreamy feel to it

The water seems a little too solid imo despite the froth of the water hitting itself...But other than that it's very nice! good job! =D

I need more practice drawing water

This was very complicated - the river has numerous little waterfalls because the bed is very rocky. On top of that, parts were frozen (maybe those are the solid parts you pointed out?) Thanks for the feedback!
