[Jumping Spider Design]

I have made a short test animation using GAP. I used MPlayer based extraction to capture the frames, changed Frames Density to 25% of what it was, then cut out the background of about ten xcfs. I used the G'MIC cartoon filter, then put a green background behind the images. I then exported the AVI.

I used Kdenlive to loop the animation a few times, used the 'bluescreen' filter and a composite transition onto the bottom image, then moved the cockroach using the pan&zoom and scale-o-tilt filters.

I'm really grateful for GAP, and the way it allows you to remove a background from a video when you haven't shot with a green screen in the first place.
