Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to gimp (and new to this forum) and I plan on painting up this sketch with it. It looks like this forum is OK with posting WIP pictures? Any critiques and suggestions are always welcome.

My main concern right now is the girl's head. I was shooting for a "big head" style like many of the characters in Disney's "Tangled" movie, but I'm not sure if I want that now.

Thanks for taking for a look! I hope to post some more soon, and thanks for everyone that has posted tutorials on this site, they will continue to be a big help on using Gimp :)

i love gimp thats why i throw away photoshop LOL, BUT thats besides the point..you done a OUTstanding on this..IMHO *big head* wont look to great as this one...the colors are well smoothed out..i just like the lighting in this art...BRAVO my dear friend! done an outstanding job. for myself i dont use skitch all that often..am not to good at it not as good as you lol so i just look for a stock photo cut the part i wanted out and work with that :) yeah call me cheap i know LOL.
