Hello guys, this is my first post. I'm happy for know this community.

So, my problem is this:

I'm writing a text, and this text looks pixelated. So I apply them antialising and the text is better now. But the antialigins add a green color in the text borders. So the text look ugly again. I want know how I can use antialising correctly and remove the green color.

I Attached two images.

Don't use AA on text, duplicate text layer, Gaussian Blur new layer by 1px.

Thank's for reply. I try with your solution but it don't work. Look the images.

Yeah, this forum problem is making things hard.

What font are you using? I could put the text on there for you.

This appears to be a know problem in 2.8. Try to disable sub-pixel rendering on your system (http://www.freedeskt...eenFontSettings).

Hi, take a look on my thread on another forum on the same subject: _ttp://www.gimpusers.com/forums/gimp-user/14407-bug-with-fonts-when-antialiasing-on

In IRC I was told that it works as expected and they cannot do anything about it because they do text rendering another way than it was in 2.6, period.
