A WIP of what I'm working on atm. I'm really not good at painting a whole landscape or building, but I wanted to try a big project like this.
I actually made a printscreen of Sovngarde when I played Skyrim and used the base lines of it. But I drew the archway and the curtain myself.

It was meant to be a speedpaint first, but I already spended more than 15 hours on it xD
I will add the colors whenever I'm done with all the details.
I use GIMP and a mouse.

I hope you have some tips for me! Because it's the first time that I've painted a big landscape/building with fully details like this and I hope I can get better and make more of such paintings in the future

I really like the way it's going. Perhaps some more dramatic lighting? Even though you said you're planning to color it, the black-and-white works really well.
