I was focused today to create amazing concept car, with skills I learned so far,and to try new aproach. And I belive it is my best car rendering so far.I'v been dreaming to learn this skills since I saw it in car magazines and car shows.I saw great rendering skills on youtube and on deviantart, and they inspired me to try harder. It took me whole day to finish it,but it worth it.I used gimp brushes with path tool. Then for the final touch I played with gradients and filters.I was very pleased with this ultra colors.I saw what people could do with wacoms, but I always thinking it is important to give my best what ever tool I use.Now I know how it is important to have graphic tablet, but it doesnt matter which.Enjoy ^_^

On link below I'v put a video tutorial on youtube. It is not this car,but it will help you to start to create your own concepts with gimp.I recorded myself when sketching car in gimp.Video lasts about 25 minutes.

It doesn't matter too much... some have more pressure sensitivity and accuracy, and some will also produce tilt information.

These images are getting better - good work!

If you use path tool a lot, you may not really use a graphics tablet all that much. It would only make free-hand drawing a bit easier.

Design was created from a scratch, and there are similar designs all over the world.I finished secondary school for carmechanic, but car design will be always my passion. That's why I bought computer and learned computer graphics 2d and 3d.Before I sketched a lot on paper and I still do sometimes.I learned 3ds max,blender3d,gimp,photoshop,illustrator,inkscape,rhinoceros,etc.I had opportunities to finish better schools like Coventry,UK and Academy of art,San Francisko, but beside talent you must have financial aid. With my knowledge I worked as packaging designer in one of the biggest companies in my country for one year.Today I'm selling my 3d models online, and everything happened because my huge passion for cardesign,my hard practice and persistence.Even I know 3d graphics,I will always admire to the people who create amazing concept car sketches with digital painting technics.Yesterday I saw I can too,so it is most precious learned skill for me,and I will keep forward.Thanx a lot for your comments and feedbacks. :)

Yes you are right, but with graphic tablet it is more natural to work with.Particularly for me,cause I'm sketching cars on paper for almost 20 years. After the working with path tool my brush is not antialiased,so I have to smooth it a little with smudge tool.Only what it lefts me is to improve my wheels,it must be much sharper.
