Fade the sparks on th eleft jus t abit and add some on the right also, thes a hint of dea dspace on th elef talso above the shoulder, just add some texture to the bg and you'll be fine, and is it jus tme or does the render seem a bit blurry?

Eitherway, this is going to be an awesome tag when you finish.

Remove the border, then sharpen/increase contrast just a tad. this is good !

I like it! I'm assuming you meant for the right shoulder to be blurry, but I think it looks a bit weird. But great job!!! On a side note, what's your render in the "prototype" sig? I've never seen that character before, but he looks cool. :D
