brush opacity keyboard shortcut needed

I am using GIMP for quite a long time, but somehow i never become able to assign keyboard shortcut
for controlling the brush opacity which is very necessary for drawing.Please help me by telling
how to do it. I can change brush diameter using "[" and "]" but not brush opacity
