I am trying to follow a tutorial on how to get the diamond effect in text, and was told to use SOTA Chrome in the logo section.

No matter what text I select, I keep getting this error message:

SOTA Chrome Message

Error while executing script-fu-sota-chrome-logo:

Error: Procedure execution of gimp-file-load failed: No such file or directory

I have no idea what to do to fix this! Do I need to download something?

Thank you so much.

The only file-load in that script is when it loads the "environment map".

So either you specified a non-existent file, or it doesn't find its default image (share/gimp/2.0/scripts/images/beavis.jpg)

How do I fix that?

The beavis file was selected, so do I need to download it somewhere?

Looks like an incomplete installation. beavis.jpg should have come with the script. On the other hand you can use pretty much any image and you'll obtain fairly similar results.

OK, so I selected the next image under 'Beavis' which is 'texture' and I got this error message:

Error: Procedure execution of gimp-image-add-layer failed on invalid input arguments: Image 'Untitled' (4) is of type 'gray', but an image of type 'rgb' is expected

Just so you know, I know next to nothing about computers and software, so if you give me step-by-steps to fix this it would be best. Thanks!

OK. I have no clue what happened, but it is now working. I was showing my IT hubby how it 'was not working' and lo and behold- it works now! I swear computers know when someone who is capable of taking them apart is watching...*sigh*

Thank you so much for your reply.
