Mmmk i did this for a friend and i kinda wasent prepared so i kinda did it on the spot xD so its kinda bad

C4D's and render used:

+ means to flatten the layers

1. Lets start out with a 350 x 130 Canvas or what ever you call it! and fill it with what ever color :]

2. Now add a c4d in there, One that kinda looks like a background. I used one that was called c4d45.jpg and open a new layer and paste the c4d in that layer and move it around untill it looks good,This is what i got, +

3a. Next i right clicked the signature layer and pushed "Duplicate layer" and i smuded using the vine brush with the spacing set at 0

3b. Next i set the smuded layer mode to "Multiply" and got this, +

4. Now i added another c4d, I used one that was called bigtag.jpg (I wasent sure if this was a tag someone made or bleh but it was a kinda big picture so i decided to save it), make a new layer and paste the c4d in there and move it around untill it looks good, I set the mode of this layer to "Lighten only", +

5. Next I duplicated the sig and gave it a black and white gradient map, you can do this by going to colors >> Map >> Gradient map
What this does is it has the 2 colors you have selected and colors it to that and i set that layer to overlay, +

After:Posted Image

6. Next i made a new layer and put the render in, And i flipped it with the flip tool to make him face right, and put him into a good spot, then i duplicated that layer and went to Filters >> Blur >> Caussian blur and did it at 15 on the bottom layer of my character, +

7. Next i did step 5 again, +

8. I did 5 again xD but this time i selected 2 colors that i wanted, i choose dark green and sky blue, and using gradient map's effect also can be different by switching the position of the 2 colors, +

9a. Next i added text, I kinda took a liking to the Visitor font for userbars, but it doesnt matter what font you use just as long as its kinda good and readable, I made the text white, i did it at size 19, and i moved it around untill it looks good,

9b. I then set the Text layer mode to "Value" Correct me if im wrong, but i think this takes the color of whats under it and kinda turns it into that color, and it seems to work best with white :], +

And you are done :D Thank you for reading :] Btw this isnt as good as most of my sigs, i wasent prepared when i made this sig i kinda had to pick stuff on the spot xD

If you do this tutorial and post results, i will post them here :]

Background is sick. Doesn't match the render IMO, and I'm feeling a lack a flow here.
