Wow, just came across Gimptalk! Tons of info! I've been a long time user of Gimp. I make all of my brushes, patterns, and other texture stuff available at http://www.texturemate.com I'd love to get your feedback on them!

Cool textures. Won't be hard to make them seamless either. Thanks for sharing your stuff. :)

Went ahead and made one of your images seamless (click here) and used it for the Brickworld. :)
