So... I was thinking, I would like to make an rpg game based on GT(because i love you guys). But I'm still stuck in terms with the plot, as I dunno what kind of story that will be involved. It could be something about the teams or something, but..

anyways!

I want some opinion and stuff, and if you have a plot suggestion, we could brainstorm together. So..

How about during the plot, Photoshop is destroyed by someone. The plot overview could be where Gimp is being destroyed part-by-part by Photoshop and someone has to destroy it.

What if it's like Star Wars, where the PS users are like the Empire and the GIMP users are like the rebels? Except with an RPG setting and stuff. The PS users here should definitely be the bad guys, while people like Savior, Greentunic, and Curly could be like the main protagonists or something.

There could be items based on GFX things, like, you open a chest and find a c4d. Lol.

lol, interesting idea. what if the protagonist had like, all the gimp tools in his pocket or something, that he could use in real life. like, he could pull out the paintbrush tool and draw himself a ladder that he could climb, or use the healing tool to heal himself, lol.

Okay, since faux asked for plot advice, I'll give it a go.

Okay, so like I said before, there's the war between PS users and GIMP users, okay? Anyways, you start out filling out an application to join the rebels (GIMP users). Your answers determine certain stats. For example, there could be questions like:

Which is most important in a sig?

a: Effects
b: Composition
c: Concept
d: How cool it looks

A gets you an increase in strength, b in intelligence/magic (idk), c in skill, and d in speed.

Anyways, after you complete the test, you get accepted into the GNU (the GIMP Newbie Institution). You start out taking classes (aka the game explains basic things like stats, attacking, items, etc etc) with three other students (your party). Then, once you finish all the classes, you have to take a final exam (a test to get in and a test to get out, lol). The final exam is to beat some monster or something, and apparently, nobody in the last 100 years has been able to complete the final exam alive. You and your party beat the monster or whatever and everyone's all like "OMG ur so hott", "you're the destined ones", etc etc. The dean (tunic or curly or something) tells you to go to meet some GIMP master so he can show you magic or something. But to do so, you have to cross into PS user territory. Along the way, you fight some weak minions and eventually their leader (the boss of that area) and you reach the master's house. He shows you how to do magic or something and teaches you some basic spells based on things in GIMP like heal (heals members of your party), move (moves blocks, like in puzzles and stuff), shear (attack spell), or something. You get more spells by getting to a certain level, getting some item, doing some sidequest, etc. The master or whatever will tel you to join a team. The teams would be Dark Concepts, Team FTW, Serenity, New Nation, and Scandaleux (maybe more idk). By going to a certain team you can change your hero to a special class, like, if you go to DC, you can become a dark mage, if you go to Serenity you become a paladin/light mage, if you join Scandaleux you can become a thief, etc. You can change teams any time and that can be smart so you can change classes and get certain skills and stuff.

Anywho, that's my start to it. I'm too lazy to write out the rest of the plot, but that's just how I think the game should start out.

Also, most people who are active, were once active, have some importance in GT history, etc, should be featured in some way, shape, or form. I vote Sprinkles to be some crazy person who runs a minigame, and Exellioth and Terroth to be dragons since those are dragon sounding names. And Xprophet should be the main badguy or something and he's mind controlling all the PS users or something. idk lol
