How to remove timestamps

This tutorial explains how to remove those pesky timestamps from your pictures. When your done you'll barely if at all be able tell that was anything there.

before you start you need to install the resynthesizer http://www.logarithm...h/resynthesizer

load your image, zoom in, select the “fuzzy select” and set the threshold to about 70. Hold shift and click on each character.

Now go to Select>Grow... now you need to figure out how much to grow, the photo I was working was 4mp and I used 3 pixels, you want to have the selection include the yellow haze/shadow.

Use the "smart remove selection" tool Filters>Enhance>smart remove selection click ok and your done!

Thanks, I've used the clone tool before but I think the resynthesizer looks better.
