Thanks. I've been trying to fade out the bottom but still haven't been able to get it right. I tried the gradient thing in the tutorial but I just get darker to lighter... it doesn't fade to transparent for some reason like I want it to. I'm very new at any kind of editing using Gimp(or anything else for that matter) so it's most likely something i'm missing or doing wrong any help?

dont make sense stupit what does hold it so it can flip verticaly only thing i see flipping is nothing

wow afew double post-its there, heres what I came up with definately a good tut :) and if you want it to look more realistic definitely use perspective and sheer transforms.

Umm i couldn't get it it just has the text i put on top and fliped underneath but how do i get the reflection if you could get the steps more clear to what im needing that would help me much it's so confusing for me (im farly new to GIMP only had for 3 days)

Perhaps a little confusion arising from the choice of words in the original sentence?

What is meant is that the you should choose the gradient that is named "FG to transparent".

yeah not to sound stupid or anything, but how the heck do i get the reflection thing to work. im new at this, and i cant figure it out.

do i just merge the layers down? or something like that?
