This script quickly adds a Guassian blur effect on all layers in an image. You set the horizontal/vertical blur amount and the script does the rest.

Download the script here-> FP's gaussian blur all layers script

Go from this:

To this:

Download the zip file, open the zip file by double-clicking on it and copy/paste the script to your GIMP scripts folder (ie...C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts). Refresh your scripts and you're ready to go. The script can be located under the Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur All Layers...

Let me know if you have any trouble or need additional information.

Modified script name and menu location. It can now be found under Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur All Layers...

Please delete your previous script and download/install the new version.

will be nice if the blur intensity could be varied between frames ,as starting with a very blurred image and then getting on focus and vice versa, and there maybe a option for a pingpong loop will be useful.
