Yeah, it still plays fine. I didn't know it was the image host, which is actually tinypic. Thanks, O.
Oops!

I knew it was one of those guys. I've had them do it to mine and I was afraid it wouldn't work. I've even tried changing the extension back to .gif on an animation then the image wouldn't show.

FP, thanx, I was clicking the path tab in the dialog, not the path button in the tool dialong. Hot Dam I'm stupid. I am about to try it right now.

BTW, as "O" says, all my gifs. pngs etc show up as jpgs after I upload to tinypic or photobucket. I questioned that a long time ago but no one knew then either.

If you really want to know the stupid thingy I was doing: After running the script after the first petal, I went to layers then hi-lited the bottom layer then did the rotate.... so I was running the script over and over on the same petal...

Thanx Art & "O".......now off to work I go on that other thingy I spent all day yesterday trying.....

How do I apply a gradient to the path stroke?

I have tried to set the Color Method to Gradient but it does not seem to do anything.

You need to set the gradient length to something other than zero. The gradient length option is right below button for picking the gradient colors.

Nice work, Molly! Glad you got it to work.

Bernie that's really good, very clever. You should try slowing down the first and the last frame so we can see the finished shape for a longer time.

Molly

You should try Photobucket, it's free, lots of extensions, .gif, .jpeg, .png and many more.

I really like your star BernieW and the two different gradients in it. It makes me feel like one star is chasing the other until it finishes. Kinda like, "oh well, I'll just end it." Very cool.

That's so pretty, Silvertayl. Nice job drawing those hearts.

This one looks just like a spirograph to me. I wondered what a rotated shape would look like. Now I know. I prefer the lines over a shape.

Thanx Silvertayl.
I have been usings Photobucket for years and they also change gifs, pngs to jpgs along with Tinypic. They still work though. I prefer Tinypic cuz it isn't so cluttered and also not full of ads.
Photobucket also has a problem with the newer versions of Adobe plugins.
