Droz putted the link over there for the abrviewer download page
Click the link.. go down the page and click the download image.
it looks like this Posted Image

then a new page should open
Click the green download button
click either the rar or the exe one.
If you don't know what rar is I suggest using google to find it or just click the .exe one.

Then click the download link to the closest place to you.
then select where you save it
then it will start downloading..
when it finishes downloading go to the folder where you downloaded it and double-click in the file that was downloaded abrviewer..
Then just install it, reading and clicking next.
Help me convert some damn abr brushes to gbr ?

you can get it from here Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package

TO me it seem then ABRviewer Work much better with the last version of NET framework 2.2...
i mean if for example if it fails to show some brush maybe you could try again after unistalling the old NET F. and installing NET framework 2.2

Can you give me a download link to 2.2? I will put it in there!

Or just update your windows and it should give you the option to donload .NET 2.2. It probley will work better with a newer ver of .net

i mistyped NET Framework version 2 ...not 2.2
directly from microsoft here

http://www.microsoft...&DisplayLang=en

there is also a german version and a x64 version
you could also use this link http://www.filehippo...et_framework_2/

I posted you on DA but maybe this is a better place: i need to convert some gimp brush in .png your script could work backward, from gbr to png ?or is better i try with Xnview (it seem that last version could read .xcf and .gbr, and .pat

Thanks for the great tutorial.

I downloaded all the software and installed it. Followed the steps but had a problem when I ran the abrViewer. It found the brushes but when I right-click and choose Show or Show All, it says Scanning files . . . at the bottom and nothing happens. I left it running when I had to go out and, when I came back an hour later, it was still at the same place. Can anyone help? I am running WinXP.

Thanks.

Its a bug in ABRViewer. Manually find your brishes so it stays good.

Do you mean do it one at a time? I have all the brushes in one folder - should I put them all in separate folders and do it that way?

Thanks for the reply.

It is still not working - I am doing them one at a time and it still says "Scanning files . . . " and "Loading. . . " and nothing happens. Any ideas anyone?

I got everything until I get to the brush_batch. I know I hwve to save it in scripts as .scm, but I can't navigate to the script folder from the save screen on file. If you could can you convert brushes for me then somehow send them to me to download? Or if you know of any really good tech sigs thats what I'm looking for.
