umm yes i agree with Zakattak, i got everythin before the script thing. Well sometimes, the script comes up on IE but sometimes it doesnt. Why is this? So i saved the page on IE and doesnt let me save it as "ALL FILES" is only "WEB ARCHIVE, single file (*.mht)" ... and why doesn't it say "ALL FILES"? How i saved it was on the new IE, i went down page>save as>... is that right? and i can't get the script on Firefox so.. yeah i saved it like this and i've got GIMP 2.4 and i went Xtns>script-fu and the GIMP-talk.com wasn't there like yours.
It only shows:

Refresh Scripts
Script-fu Console
Start Server...
:(
This is all under "SCRIPT-FU" ans so i can't find the gimp-talk.com thing. I was just wonderin if it was because i've got the latest gimp? and was just wonderin if u can tell me what type u've got. I REALLY hope you can reply and Help me as soon as possible because this is going to be really fun and thank you for your time! :D

Ok, I got all the way up to starting the script-fu, but I get the same error message as Headhunter and crystaldoors:

Error while executing
(brush-batch "C:\\Documents and Settings\\Jeff Trice\\My Documents\\Converted Brush Sets\\Ihea\\PNG Dump" 3 "Vector Curves" "Vector Curves" 25 "C:\\Documents and Settings\\Jeff Trice\\My Documents\\Converted Brush Sets\\Ihea\\Vector Curves")

Error: set!: unbound variable: a

what do I need to do to make this work?

I downloaded and saved it as a .scm from Firefox, and now I can't figure out how to run it outside of Gimp and Firefox. ( I can access it on Script-Fu) Am I downloading the right thing or do I need to run it with a different program?

This is the message I see when I attempt to click OK (final step in tutorial):

Error while executing
(brush-batch "C:\\Users\\Leylusha\\Documents\\converted brush sets\\fallnstock\\PNG dump" 3 "Smoke-" "Smoke-" 25 "C:\\Users\\Leylusha\\Documents\\converted brush sets\\fallnstock\\smokebrushes")

Error: set!: unbound variable: a

): what is this unbound variable and how can I bind it?

Thanks in advance.

TO ALL GIMP USERS::

Just a note! You can use Photoshop brushes in the most recent version of GIMP! So there's really no *need* for converting the brushes. The only downside, methinks, is that you can't delete or modify individual Photoshop brushes in GIMP.

Download the Photoshop brushes as .abr files and move the fils into your Gimp 2.0 "brushes" folder. :)

, is that you can't delete or modify individual Photoshop brushes in GIMP.

why not? delete should be simple as delete the abr files, to modify should be possible stamp it on a transparent or blank BG ,edit, and save as gbr (i suppose is no possible save as abr, never try that )

Ahhhh~ it is so.
You're right.
I should have said you can't edit the brushes using GIMP's "Edit Brush" option. I'm not very experienced with editing brushes, anyway.
As for deleting, I meant that the .abr brushes come in one file and that you can't delete an individual brush of that file from your palette. As you stated, it IS possible to remove the brushes if you remove the .abr file.

This script only works with an older version of Gimp as it was never updated.
