Great tutorial.
(pretty new to gimp)
mine is not too well done. Mine has no flow and I compensated for the lack of clipping skills with pasting I think I could turn the backround into something awesome though I'm gonna look around for a backround tut.
I'm gonna fix this bad boy up.

I like this tut, good stuff. Nice outcome without a lot of messiness.

I am curious what about this is "vector" though? I think maybe I don't get the use of this word in this community.

Kinda difficult to explain, but its sorta like using bold colours and simple shapes to create an eye-catching piece. Think no C4Ds, no fancy brushing, no smudging or tiny pixel details. I guess that's pretty much it - bold colours, simple shapes and little intricacy. Hope that explains it.

Im still trying to figure out how to do the clipping mask thing. Ive looked it up and all I see is talk about using a splatter brush and doiong it.
EDIT:NVM figured it out
Result: Posted Image not very bold but w/e
